We are into Mechanical Seals business since 1997 and emerged as a leading manufacturer and exporter of mechanical seals with a wide range of engineering products across the globe with exclusive supply in Middle East and African countries.

SUMIKA is managed by a team of experienced professionals coupled with its mission to keep abreast of the latest technological innovations in India as well as worldwide is adequately geared towards meeting the needs of its clients in the years to come.

The company operates in strict accordance with domestic and international organization for standardization 9001:2008.
We provide solutions for critical applications by supplying these diverse industrial products and services to Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Refineries, Water & Waste Water.

We are closely working with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and refining industries based in India as well as abroad. Further, we are an approved vendor in leading consultants, EPC contractor and reputed end user majorly focused in chemical, petrochemical, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Power sector.

We also have capacity to handle project level operations and execute them as per the defined time frame especially export oriented orders.

Company History

1997

Our footprint as a ‘Sumika Engineering’ started business of reconditioning and refurbishment of Mechanical seals and spares.
2002

We became a MSME and incorporated as ‘Sumika Seals Private Limited’ with our first manufacturing unit setup with total built-up area of 15000 square Feet in Vadodara city.
2009

Our second manufacturing unit started at nearby location in Vadodara city.
2011

Our production capacity and staff doubled with state-of-the-art automation including CNC and VMC machines in the second unit. We started supplying of complete seal support system with its spares to our customers.
2013

We entered in export business and started a new venture in UAE for handling various engineering projects based in middle-east region.
2015

We started a new unit - ‘Sumika Enterprise’ which was a fully Export Oriented Unit (EOU) to focus and cater the needs of overseas customers particularly for middle-east region.
2018

We purchased a new plot having total area of 25,000 square feet in Savli nearby Vadodara city considering our future production plant expansion.
2019

Achieved all time high turnover after seeing an exponential growth every year.
